2024-2025 Scholarships for Freshman

FY affordability header

First-year students who apply for the 2024-2025 academic year and are admitted are eligible to receive academic scholarships ranging from $20,000 per year ($80,000 over four years) up to $25,000 per year ($100,000 over four years).

We are test optional, so no SAT/ACT score is required to qualify for academic scholarships. See below for additional awards if you submit a SAT/ACT test score.

SAT/ACT Test Takers

If you take the SAT and score 1100 or above, or the ACT and score 22 or above, you will want to submit your test score to earn an additional $1,000 to $3,000 depending on your score. The SAT/ACT award of $1,000-$3,000 is in addition to your Academic Scholarship (Heritage, Academic Excellence, or Presidential). Test scores must be received by June 1 to be eligible for a SAT/ACT award.

Transfer Scholarships: Academic Excellence Award

Transfer scholarships are awarded based on cumulative GPA from all institutions attended. Renewal of transfer academic scholarships is based on continued full-time enrollment and a cumulative GPA of 2.00 earned at ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¿ª½±¼Ç¼. All transfer scholarships are renewable for six semesters.

How Can I Receive Financial Aid from ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¿ª½±¼Ç¼?

Over 95% of our students receive scholarships or need-based financial aid such as federal, state, and institutional grants, federal work-study, and federal loans. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form at studentaid.gov and enter ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¿ª½±¼Ç¼'s code 003641 to send your FAFSA to ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¿ª½±¼Ç¼. When ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¿ª½±¼Ç¼ receives your FAFSA information from the U.S. Department of Education, we will provide you with your financial aid offer, which will include all of the institutional, state, and federal aid you qualify to receive.

When Can I Expect a Financial Aid Offer from ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¿ª½±¼Ç¼?

Traditionally, financial aid offers are sent to new students in November prior to the incoming fall semester. However, the financial aid timeline for the Fall 2024 semester has been delayed due to the overhaul and revision of the FAFSA. The U.S. Department of Education announced on January 30, 2024, that they will not be sending student financial aid data from completed FAFSAs to colleges and universities, including ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¿ª½±¼Ç¼, until late March. ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¿ª½±¼Ç¼, and other institutions, use FAFSA data to prepare your financial aid offer, which provides the total financial aid you qualify to receive. At this time, ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¿ª½±¼Ç¼ is estimating that financial aid offers will be sent to students beginning in April 2024. Updated 2/5/2024.

What Should I Do to Ensure I Am Considered for Financial Aid?

¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¿ª½±¼Ç¼ encourages all students, returning and incoming, to complete the FAFSA at for the 2024-2025 academic year. The FAFSA opened on December 31, 2023.

If you are a newly admitted student for Fall 2024, you are eligible to receive an Estimated Net Cost Summary reflecting your potential out-of-pocket costs for ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¿ª½±¼Ç¼ with ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¿ª½±¼Ç¼'s SAI Calculator. To receive your Estimated Net Cost Summary, please on your Student Status page. You will be asked to log in to your Student Status page and must have gained admission for Fall 2024 to access the form.
